Pure Malt & Amouage Gold - available on fragrancenet.com

To all those who are looking for Thierry Mugler's Pure Malt - its available now on fragrancenet.com; I went looking for Mugler Cologne for the upcoming summer and I saw this accidentally. I ordered it over the phone along with a few more perfumes and recvd a 20% discount as well (repeat shopper).

Living in Canada, this has been 1 difficult parfum to find (among many others) - this was a blind buy; hopefully it works well on my skin.

Also, I saw Amouage Gold as well (men & women), however, mine's more than 90% full, so I didn't have the need. Wondering if they will bring in more from Amouage in the future...

Amouage Gold has been on their site for as long as I can remember. If you look at a few discounters sites, they show it as well. Don't know why it is just Gold and none of the others.

Damn, excellent price for a bottle of PM with the discount.. Already have it, and unfortunately paid 75eur for it.

Great shopping tips. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip. I used one of their 20% promo coupons (and shipping was free.)
I ordered Pure Malt, along with a Salvadore Dali mini, Paul Smith Man mini, and Creed MI sample...all for $71!

Just picked up a bottle of PM, been looking for one for so long. Thanks for the tip! Hopefully they have enough in stock for my order!

Better than getting it from the Mugler store, especially since the 20% discount gets the price down to $60. Unfortunately the deal isn't great since you need $70 for free shipping and being in NY gets you taxed...
Yeah, if you can order a little more to get the $70 free shipping it,s a great deal. MuglerStoreUSA has it for $89 I think with free shipping. So that's almost $30 off. Thanks for the tip, I might just have to get a bottle. Wish they had Havane though.
Still kicking myself for not getting in on the DHI unboxed when they had it.

Just blind bought:

1. PM

2. Kouros

3. Yatagan

20% off. Under $150 for the lot. Woot! Woot!

Thanks OP. That's awesome.

Thanks! 20% off code: FDC4P

Got myself a backup bottle of Pure Malt and few other things...thanks for the heads up

Don't forget to sign up for ebates (ebates.com) and go to fragrancenet that way. Depending on the current promo deal at ebates, you'll get between 6% and 12% cash back on top of the fragrancenet sale. Granted, you'll have to wait a while to get the ebates cash back. I think they do it quarterly? Maybe monthly? I don't know. All I know is, it's free money... so don't forget to take it.

would love to jump on board to grab this, great price with the discount

already have 2 of the PM original formula bottle to go through, tempting to grab 2 more ... must resist the urges
post #16 of 34
Guys the prices dropped again to $67, and $53 after the coupon code FDC4P. Hurry while supplies last!

Aaaand...it's out of stock. Was hoping to get a back up bottle tomorrow...oh well.

Paid $80 BNIB for one off a member here last week, then literally the day it arrived I notice the sale going on at FragranceNet...

I paid $96 a month ago from Mugler's online store...but at the rate I'm using it, it'll last a few years. Still, next time I'll definitely get it if the price falls that low.

I can now only hope they get in Havane at the same price to make this better.

I'd almost feel better if that did happen. And there might be a chance of that considering it's now available in Macy's and Neiman Marcus.

That was an awesome deal! I saw it yesterday when it was still in stock & thought about getting a backup bottle...however I just bought an original formula bottle a couple of weeks ago off a nice BN'er for a good deal & it'll probably take me years upon years to use it up with all the other frags I use. It was still really difficult to pass on a deal like that, as its quickly become my go-to gourmand.

I'm going with Angel, Malt, and Havane and calling it quits. No sense in owning all of them for me.... the rest come off as novelty to me anyways.

Malt and Havane are keepers. Angel I'm somewhat iffy on. I might try Leather a few more times and decide between the two.

It was probably a combination of Amazon, ebay, and their own site that did it.

Hard to go without the original for me. I also like layering them.
So are Havane and Malt part of the permanent line?

Have yet to try layering them, might be the way to go though.

My understanding is that Coffee, Leather, Malt, and Havane are/were all considered special editions.

However, you can still buy some or most of them directly from the website. I'm not sure the reason why this company makes these awesome flankers and then prohibits them from being long term retail products.

Still listed as limited editions, but only Havane is available from retailers like Macy's and Neiman Marcus, not Malt.

I use Angel as the layer, typically will do one large shot to the chest, then go over with Malt or Havane in regular fashion.

You get increased longevity? Projection?

It helps Havane last longer. Malt doesn't need any help, but the mix of the gourmand and the whiskey is dynamite.
