Looking for single-note colognes, esp. orange (like Demeter but w/ better projection and longevity)

I know about Demeter fragrances, but have heard they have terrible longevity and projection. Are there any other manufacturers/vendors that do a similar thing to Demeter, but with higher quality? I'm especially looking for an orange smell, but also seeking single-note chocolate, vanilla, etc.

Vanille Absolue by La Maison de la Vanille perhaps.

Pick up a bottle of Orange Sanguine from Atelier Cologne and call it a day.

Citruses usually are very fleeting. But there is stuff that at least lasts a bit more than Demeter. In addition to the suggestion above, there's Concentree d'orange vertes by Hermes. Vanilla instead lasts a long time, so there should be no problem there. One suggestion was given above already.

Bond No. 9 Little Italy is very very orange-y. Something you may want to look at. Not a good one IMO however.

Eau d'Orange Verte is pretty linear and mostly bitter orange.

You may find what you crave in Diptyque's Eau de Tarocco/L'Eau de L'Eau.

agreed, while doing the daily flavour of the day sample at work, everyone unanimously disliked that fragrance lol

Comme des Garçons do pretty decent takes on grapefruit and lime. You might want to try Guerlain Mandarin-Basilic.

I love it when people make a suggestion and then follow it up by everyone hates it or its disgusting, etc. I love Little Italy and everyone that I know that has given it a whiff loves the stuff. Just my two cents.
