Need a fresh, pleasant, spicy scent

Guys. I am about to kind of finishing my collection. I have the fresh, lemony summer scents, some vanilla, sweet, spicy for winter but I would say I still need some last pieces. I wanted to ask your opinion and advices on what else to add?
I would need a scent that is spicy but not like crazy (not too much pepper), that opens fresh, pleasant with spicy undertones. The dry down can be smoky, sweet, musky, but masculine.
I tested Black Afgano, so something like that, something that type. My current favorite is Invasion Barbare by MDCI from a sample. Clive Christian C for Men is great too. I am 39 years old by the way
Thank you in advance as always.

Get the Invasion Barbare. It's one of the best fragrances currently available, and you'll never regret that purchase.

Fan Di Fendi is very underrated to me.

It's starts with a citrus note and settles down to a leathery (some say musky) not overly sweet drydown.

Gucci pour Homme II and YSL Rive Gauche PH immediately come to my mind.

l'homme and la nuit l'homme

Try Burberry London...I find it has a similar drydown to MDCI Invasion without the hefty price tag.

Cartier Declaration fits your description. Opens fresh and citrusy, with warm spicy cardamom, and dries down to very sexy spicy woodsiness.

Royal Oud would be nice.

Try Sartorial if you like Invasion Barbare.

Have you tried Caravelle Epicee? Plenty of spice but not limited to pepper.

Spicy/Fresh/Elegant - Paprika Brasil, not my fav, but it match the description you are after.

Maybe check out Gucci Envy (if ya' can find it). MDCI.IB is the whip, couldn't recommend it more. If you like CC.C, check out TF Tuscan Leather. Also Nasomatto Pardon comes to mind. HDP 1725 has currently got my interest, largely due to it's supposed similarity to MDCI.IB. I need to check it out.

Ya' got a gang of quality recommends, I'm curious to see what you land on.

You've gotten some great recs so far, so you might be set. However! Another consideration is Bvlgari pour Homme. It is everything you mentioned: fresh, pleasant, masculine, peppery but not too much. The only thing is it might not be assertive enough for you; it definitely is low-key. But if you're still looking after your samples this week, it's worth a sniff. Good luck.

They are anything but fresh - especially the Goodsir.
