The designer mishmash that is being churned out these days.

Eau de Cartier. You need to be a sniffer dog to perceive it. If you manage you're confronted with a joyless, anaemic, little brother of Declaration.

The nothingness in most of the designer perfumes we smell.

That sharp generic note thats skewed to smell citrusy, maybe fruity and floral. Then finally closed down with either musky nothingness Auranone or woody nothingness Norlimbanol.

Those aren't the anti-fragrance. Those are focus-group-dollar-seekers. Safe for the suburbs because that's what sells.

In all seriousness...

Fragrance = fragrant.
Anti = against or adverse to.

Thus, common sense tells us, anti-fragrance means against fragrance or adverse to fragrance, meaning clean with no applied scents.

All of those sorts those seemingly made to sell by shock instead of really to wear, like secretions, blood groups, black gaga containing own blood styles, that sort of thing.

(I add that I have only smelled the first one of these and not the others, so apologies in advance if I am wrong with those).
