Do you where a scent for relaxation? One that just makes you feel comfortable? I have one scent that I wear at home when I just want to relax. For me, its Lalique Equus. I love the strong cedar note.

Sweet Gourmands make me feel relaxed or even fruit based scents.

Some examples:
Givenchy Play Intense
Pure Malt/ Pure Havane
DHI

Avoid pepper notes for relaxation.

Nothing like 1 comfort scent as I like all that I own. B4 bed, I use 2 sprays or dabs of 2 different perfumes, one on each arm, and that to me is the most comforting, if a girl is not already in my arms

I like to wrap myself up in Givenchy Pi, Joop! Homme Wild or Lutens Santal Majuscule - sometimes I'll even wear one to bed!

I have to say, for a guy who has had 37,883 things to say about fragrance, that surprises me!

+1 for Gucci Pour Homme II. It's a marvelously versatile scent that's great for a date, but it's also my lazy Sunday staying at home choice.

Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine.

The first thing I thought of was Piper Nigrum, but lately I've found Memoirs of a Trespasser very comforting. Ambre Precieux is another one that falls into that category for me.

Here are a few:

Ambre Sultan (ambers in general really)
Iris Ganache (I think most of the L'Art et la Matiere line would work)
L'Heure Bleue
Jicky EdP
Dior Homme Intense

Why can't you use the same bottle for both?

Nice. Some very good and surprising responses. Gucci Pour Homme II was a surprising one but, when I thought about it, I could see that. Mugler Cologne or Banana Republic Classic is another one for me. I also love Sandlewood/cedar mixes.

Caron Pour Un Homme - with a splash or two of Puig's Agua Lavanda...pure aromatherapy!
here are a few that work for me...

Classic Patchouli by Von Eusersdorff
Shalimar
Bois D'Encens
Ambra Di Luna
Ambre Precieux

I like to apply fragrance just before bed. Usually something that i'll still be able to detect the following morning. Recently it's been 4 sprays of one of the following.

Hermes Bel Ami
Cartier de Santos Concentree
Antonio Puig Quorum
CDG Avignon
Le Labo Rose 31

While most would not categorize Giorgio for Men (vintage) as a "comfort scent," I use it for mine as I am so used to it after wearing it regularly for a quarter century that it evokes feelings of comfort.
I either try samples, or I go to Profumum Roma's Soivissimo or Xerjoff's Lira.
