Your comfort scent - Page 2

Pretty much anything in my wardrobe, for me personally, the "comforting potential" of most or even all of my scents is nearly limitless.

Dior's Hypnotic Poison and Versace's the Dreamer are both very comforting to me.

Eau Des Baux does the trick for me.

M7. I love to put it on before I got to bed. Helps me find that calm place to fall asleep easier.

Yes, i wear fragrances also for their relaxing effect.
What's the most relaxing one varies according to the mood.
From my wardrobe i find relaxing, not in any special order:

  • Aramis New West
  • DHI
  • Eau de Rochas pour Homme
  • Macassar
  • Joop Nightflight
  • Kouros Fraicheur
  • Monsieur de Givenchy
  • Rochas Lui
  • Rochas Man
  • Dior Jules
  • Envy for Men

Agree on Versace the Dreamer.

It may sound strange but Kouros is kinda my comfort scent. I don't know why, but its sort of like Holden Caulfield's red hunting cap for me...I just feel safe and secure when I wear it.

Also, during the holidays Claiborne Spark makes me feel warm and cozy in a family holiday sort of way.

Divine l'homme Sage.

Another that I used to own that fit the bill was Bvlgari PH Soir. I think the tea note (such as in Gucci PH 2) is naturally soothing

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo Di Sicilia

Such a sweet and light comforting, fun, holiday, relaxing fragrance. Instant smile on my face.

I almost forgot: one of my favorite comfort scents is Burning leaves from CB I hate perfume.

Chanel pour Monsieur for me. Just soft and relaxing. I tend to wear it more when I feel like crap, though. For lounging around the house with my wife, I tend to go with some of her favorite scents. (Current one: The Dreamer. She can't seem to get enough of it.)
