guerlain homme l'eau v homme l'eau boisee

These are way too alike to own both in my view, but if you could only have one, which would it be? Lime with a hint of mint, grapefruit and geranium, or lime with a whack of vetiver?

Have and like both, but if forced to choose: L'eau.

Much prefer Homme Intense to Homme, but find the L'Eaus more difficult to choose between.

I've own or have owned Guerlain Homme, Intense, and L'Eau. Out of those L'Eau is more natural smelling and a lot smoother. I haven't smelled Boisee, but if it's anything like L'Eau it's going to be a quality fragrance. I'd be interested to hear the opinion's of people who have both L'Eau and Boisee.

I have only one. Boisee.

I do not see any issue with owning both though. Pedros 2 summary descriptions are spot on, except Boisee is a bit like the Lime Terre d'Hermes.

I don't own L'Eau only because it only projects off my skin if it is stinking hot and humid. And I live in the UK so those conditions are not common!

Leau is beautiful summer scent. The longevity is quite bad on my skin. I dont see much similarity between them

For some reason I dislike the entire Homme series. L'eau is the best of them, however. Despite being a fan of vetiver, Boisee didn't work for me. Gave off this very weird curry smell.

I own and love the original EdT. Later bought GHI, and love it, too. Really want L'Eau and the Boisee flankers now. The only reasonable solution is to purchase and love all four of them.

I'd take boisee over the regular l'eau because I'm a sucker for dry woods, but personal preference is
Homme> Homme Intense> l'eau boisee> l'eau
post #13 of 15
I prefer l'eau boisee because the EDT reminds me too much to kenzo power.

L' Eau is all about the lime and light woods and is great for summer. L' Eau Boisee is light woods and vetiver. Boisee reminds me more of HeWood, Declaration L' Essence or a smoothe version of Terre d' Hermes than it does L' Homme Eau. I see no conflicts and own and enjoy both.

I have both. L'Eau is fresher and lighter, Boisee is more peppery and lasts longer. It depends on what you want.
