Very similar...

So I have been wearing SpiceBomb this past week, and I have noticed the dry down after an hour or so smells like Chanel Egoiste. I'm getting a cinnamon " Big Red Gum" vibe and notes to it." Mixed with a tea note" I have had a few frag head friends, and Co workers ask me if I was wearing that Chanel. So I'm not the only one who's getting this out of the dry down. Anyone else get this out of SpiceBomb? Overall I do like this as it was a blind buy.

Spicebomb smells like 95% copy of 1 million. But I don't really pick up the Egoiste similarity. But I do see how you could think that. Sort of...

The cinnamon dry down on me is whats giving that vibe. Not sweet like One Million IMO

To my untrained nose (and possibly faulty memory), SpiceBomb smells like DK Men Unleaded, and I like them both.

I don't think it's similar to Egoiste really, even at drydown.

I do think Spicebomb is SOMEWHAT similar to Burberry London though.

I think most people associate a fragrance smell with top notes only. I haven't tried Egoiste recently enough to remember the drydown, but I've often noticed very similar drydowns among some pretty different scents. I'll have to check this one out. I like Spicebomb, but the opening isn't my favorite part.

The scents in my collection that I most closely relate to Spicebomb are Lapidus Black Soul, CK One Shock, 1 Million, & Black XS. None are exactly the same, but they all fall in the same family of fragrances to me. I think the one that shares similarities with all of these is Black Soul. (I get the pink pepper & saffron from Spicebomb, the fruity bubblegum/mint accord from 1 Million, and a bit of the balmy bittersweetness of Black XS all rolled into this one).

As far as Egoiste, I really don't think any of these smell similar to it. (and that's ok with me as I'm not an Egoiste fan.).
