Hi guys,

I ran a poll this morning on where NOT to wear fragrances. Based on your responses and suggestions on the polling method, I revised the list. Here it is!

Don't forget: These are places wearing fragrances is not already prohibited. I didn't include places where it is (e.g. meditation retreat) for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't wear fragrance in a job interview nor at a gym. At a job interview, it's too risky. At a gym, IMO it's out of place.

I'm 50/50 at a hospital/clinic. If I were visiting someone, I'd probably wear fragrance. If I was the patient, I wouldn't wear it.

Not at a job interview.

I'm a senior in hs I would never put fragrances on before football games because I played haha. I did however put on a fragrance before a track meet and right before my hurdles race I got a compliment from the dude who later on beat me he was like "no homo but bro you smell delicious" hahaha

back on topic: I think you can wear it anywhere as long as you understand the situation haha

All of the five choices in your list are inappropriate places for fragrances IMO.

Option 6 - none of the above. I always go scented.

What the gentleman said! ;-)

I confess I always wear fragrance but at places when care is needed I just go easy on the trigger. Even at a job interview I would wear something quiet where you would only be able to smell it if standing nose to nose.

i think all of these are okay as long as you go VERY lightly.

also, keep in mind that what i call light and what the average basenoter thinks of as light (4 to 6 sprays) is different.

One must always be conscious of the environment and those around you - such as in the case of air travel. If one is is considerate of such factors, then it is merely a question of choosing the appropriate scent and dose!

So I voted 6. with the above caveat.

Voted Job Interview but I wear Fragrances all the time.

It'd be cumbersome at the gym.

I don't wear fragrances at Hospitals, Clinics and Funerals. Fragrance plays an incredibly relevant role in memory and personally I don't want my perfumes to remind me of painfull, unpleasant and sad things. I also tend to avoid applying perfumes when I go to the gym. Fragrance + heavy sweat is killer.
