please suggest fresh scent for daily use!

hi! I'm new here and you guys seem to be a fun place, so I think I'll stick around

and while I'm here I thought you could help me solve my urge to buy a new scent. currently I am fond of D&G's watermelon scent L'Imperatrice, I also use Armani's acqua di gio (looove the freshness) and calvin klein's forbidden euphoria (don't know what I was thinking, this is waaay too sweet and late in the night for me). I am also considering buying gucci's flora tuberose, which I find both green fresh and bitter (which I like).

what scents would you recommend for me to try?

Sounds like a job for Creed's Original Vetiver!

Mugler Cologne
212 Men
Sean John Unforgiveable (has watermelon)

Welcome!

For freshness, I like vetivers, which are fresh, slightly grassy, and long lasting. Examples would be Tom Ford Grey Vetiver and Guerlain Vetiver.

Hi Pencilsharp, welcome to Basenotes!

You've had 3 male responses, so here's a female one. I'll include some of my favorites, all of these would be great as a daily fresh scent, imho.

Hermes Caleche eau Delicate
Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au The Blanc
Dior Escale a Portofino
Hermes Osmanthe Yunnan
L'Artisan Parfumeur La Chasse Aux Papillons or Premiere Figuier
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune
Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi
Annick Goutal Petite Cherie
Chloe Love, Chloe
Chanel Chance eau Fraiche
Calvin Klein Beauty
Bvlgari Omnia Coral

I would explore the Hermes line, particularly the Jardin series and Kelly Caleche, if you like scents with a blend of green/fresh/citrus/floral/fruity/bitter notes.

Calvin Klein Truth - it has watery notes, green bamboo, and sometimes a bit of soft herbal/floral spice
Shiseido Relaxing - overall soft, light, fresh botanical scent
Diorissimo - if you like lily of the valley give this one a try, soapy clean, green, floral

thank you all for the input! I've created a nice long list of fragrances that I need to sample and already tried some at a local store. btw Hermes is the label I didn't realize I could try for this scent, so I thank everyone who mentioned it, I think I'll have to pay greater attention to it
