differences between creed GIT at Fragrancenet

anyone know what the 2 differences are in these?

http://www.fragrancenet.com/creed-gr...mf/en_US/00608

one is 'EDP' and the other is labeled as 'spray'.

Think they're both the same. A mistake on Fragrancenet's part. Go with the cheaper of the two if you are planning to make the purchase.

Exactly what Hednic said.

Yeah, absolutely, no difference there.

You see this a lot with unisex Creeds, too -- VIW, for example, is often listed differently in the men's and women's section of online discounters, and sometimes the prices are different, too. But there is no actual difference.

Buy the cheaper one.

I bet Fragrancenet isn't in any rush to fix that one!

I think they do it just to confuse the consumer and get better margins on these bottles (since they are selling like hot cakes).

I haven't had a bad experience with FragranceNet yet, but they just seem shady as hell to me.

I might go with Beauty Encounter for my next Creed purchase.

I made an order with Fragrancenet last week and ordered the cheaper GIT. They have the cheapest rate shipping to Canada. BeautyEncounter uses UPS which is a no no to Canada because of the aditional brokerage charge. Brokerage charge can go upwards of hundreds of dollars.

Another member I know ordered GIT couple weeks back and they shipped USPS from BeautyEncounter, he never had to pay the Brokerage fees.

I'll have to email Beauty Encounter. I have never ordered from them and just reading it off their websites.

Note that Beauty Encounter shaves off some Creed serial numbers. And if you try to return a bottle with a defaced serial number, they'll charge a hefty restocking fee. That's why I don't order from it any more and use fragrancex.com for most of my Creed purchases. Code "basenotes" gets you 10% off.

Thanks for the info regarding Beauty Encounter. I'm going to be ordering Creed Original Santal off Fragrancex anyways because Fragrancenet is out of stock and I don't wanna wait much longer.

Careful there....I find them on par with Fragrancenet in terms of shadiness, just a nicer looking site. They've been known to ship old stock/possibly not stored right.

Yeah, I've heard worse things about BeautyEncounter. They're notorious for grinding off the batch #'s. I remember someone posting about how they got A*Men Taste of Fragrance and the product code was cut out. Because of that the person wasn't able to register their fragrance online.

I've gotten all my Creed bottles from Fragrancenet and I'm happy with all of my purchases. I can see the batch #'s and they weren't grounded out or hidden. All of them have either been of the current year or previous year's batches, except one case (Himalaya) where I got a 6 year old batch. The Himalaya smells fine though, and I get great longevity on it (around 10 hours).

Thanks for the info. Great to hear that Fragrancent is great for Creeds. I bought 5 Creeds off Fragrancenet last week and they shipped today. Took a little longer than what I was expecting but at least they got the order out today. I was hoping they had it out on Monday or last Friday since they charged my CC last Friday bright and early. I'm going to try FragranceX next week for a couple of more Creeds and a few other ones.

In my experience, fragrancex is a bit slow on shipping -- not crazy slow, just usually a few days after I expect. I find their prices more than justify the slightly longer wait. Just saying you should be aware when you deal with discounters (frankly, when you deal with most every online retailer) that they're generally going to ship by the cheapest (slowest) means available unless you pay extra.
