Wow!
Have had this stuff in my collection for years and never thought very much of it.
Tonight I stumbled upon it and gave it a spray. Incredible stuff !! This fragrance is bisexual, rather than unisex. It constantly wavers and changes between feminine and masculine. Almost magically. The opening spray gave me a floral bouquet which after a few seconds switched into something very piney/woody ~ strong, of the Yatagan variety. Very macho.
After an hour of switchbacking between floral feminine and uber macho I am now getting a wonderful leather note accompanying the florals, with a sweet, but heavy backdrop.
I looked up the notes on one website, but no leather is listed. But my nose is getting a definite leather vibe. Perhaps with the age of the fragrance some notes have altered. Whatever it is, I'm getting exquisite leather, incredible woods and exotic flowers of the Fidji variety. Gorgeous stuff !

My wife used to have this. It smelled great on her but personally could never wear this as it's too feminine IMO.

Update....
Iv'e just read the basenotes reviews for this and it seems I'm not the only one getting the heavy leather/floral vibe. Some reviewers detect a smoky note as well.
The reviews are very intriguing and worth checking out....as is the fragrance!

Wow!
Loving this.
It's like Yatagan's alter ego !

Yes, because it's not as constant and clear cut as a unisex fragrance. It's changing from feminine to masculine and back again all the time. That's the only way I can describe it ~ bisexual.

I think the word you're looking for is androgynous.

Androgynous means neither one or the other......indistinguishable /somewhere between the two sexes ?
.....but this fragrance changes violently from one sex to the other, hence my phrase bisexual, rather than unisex or androgynous.
I know that technically a fragrance does not have a sexuality, but in this particular context I prefer to use the word bisexual, because it really seems to fit the image of the fragrance.

Bumping in the hope that more people will leave feedback/comments on this extraordinary fragrance.
I have been wearing it a lot lately and it never fails to impress. Definitely on my top ten list now.
Check out the reviews for this one !
