I agree. Quite expensive to blind buy. Best to sample first.

Thanks for the wise words Gentleman, threads like these are bound to happen when surfing Luckyscent with a bourbon in your hand.

I found my way to Barney's today and walked out with 50 mls of Tam Dao, a very enjoyable but much more affordable sandalwood.

Profumum Roma is my favourite house. Have you tried Arso? But in answer to your question, I wouldn't buy blind unless it cost £20 or less. I have a sample of Olibanum but wouldn't buy a full bottle. Did you buy the Santalum after all?

I ended up going with Tam Dao and really love it. I am going to make Santalum and Arso part of my next sample order for sure.
