How does Prestige compare/differentiate from the other Jazz's ?
Has it been discontinued ?

I find it pleasant and different enough from Live Jazz and Jazz to warrant a place in my collection.

I didn't like the dihydromyrcenol in Jazz, but would be into a composition that lacks it and features higher-quality materials.

The drydown of Jazz is almost exactly like (vintage) Tsar.

I find Jazz Prestige to be quite different, yet I am not sure if I can get along with it. I was hoping it would be special, but I didn't think much of my sample. I'll have to re-check my notes, but I know I didn't care for it. I suppose I was hoping it would be more tobacco-like in its dry down accord, but I never felt it was. At least it isn't a scrubber for me like Jazz. I never really was impressed with Live Jazz, but still will try to like it.

Jazz Prestige doesn't have the peppermint in the top notes, nor cilantro or herbal nature of Live Jazz either.

Jazz Prestige and Live Jazz have only the title "Jazz" in common. JP is a tobacco-rich, oakmossy sandalwood frag with all the depth and swagger of the 80's, though it was launched in the early 90s. It references the original Jazz quite a bit, but is unique in its own right. Prestige is discontinued and, IMO, quite rare.

I have a tester bottle of this, which is almost full. Maybe it's just my skin or maybe it's gone off, but to my nose it stinks.
