Black Orchid; Voile de Fleur.

Thread Starter
Quite some time ago I purchased a large bottle of Tom Ford's Black Orchid; Voile de Fleur because it was being discontinued. At first I thought it a bit powerful and sweet, but I have developed a liking for it in my old age. I wonder what others of you think of this fragrance, so to that end I created this thread for the purpose of discussing this Voile de Fleur. I has been some time since I have posted here on the blog, so to those who I know and remember me, hello again, and to those who I have not yet met greetings and felicitations from a now, very thin N_Tesla.

Hello!
On my skin, BO VdF is almost all tuberose all the time.
If you are looking for a similar scent {but in my opinion ,better} try Carnal Flower.
CF works amazingly well in hot weather, almost better than in cold. YMMV

Its an awesome fragrance, its opening is a little too floral for me but the drydown is excellent.

My ex used to wear it. I loved it and have been looking for a bottle for some time now. Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to find it here in the UK - even eBay is empty!

It's really good, more approachable than Black Orchid. I gave it to a girlfriend, though; it's a bit too richly fem for me. It smells remarkably like a cattleya orchid.

A coworker at my job wore this. It's nice for a woman, but for a man I think it's a little too sweet.

Is it still available though?

Know a female employee who has worn this at my firm. Way too feminine for me.
