Do you think Montale Aoud Damascus is a true unisex scent?

As long as you feel comfortable go for it!

Yes

No, I personally don't...but if you like it, wear it.

Many male members on Basenotes wear scents designed originally for women. I think a lot of the remaining male population, at least here in the US, is less comfortable with that approach. You need to decide where you fit on that spectrum.

It's quite unfair, really, because traditionally women can wear anything without a thought to gender (i.e. Jicky originally made for men but taken over by women).

I hear ya seattle. I going to wear it! From what I've asked, most men (at least on basenotes) say they do or would wear it. I'm sure the general public might think otherwise but oh well. I don't wear perfume for them! Ha

That's an excellent attitude! Once you decide who you're wearing perfume for - or why you're wearing it - you don't need to concern yourself about the gender focus of the marketing.

Good lord, yes. A man wearing Aoud Damascus would be irresistible, imo. Ditto the Attar scent by Montale. Of Montale's rose/oud and rose/sandalwood combos, these two are lacking any extra berry, vanilla, etc. notes that would detract from their unisex sexiness.

Yes. Montale scents aren't marketed by the company to either gender.

Good because I have a large bottle coming my way! If my wife is being good, I MIGHT share some with her.
