Hi all. New here. So hi to you all :-)

I am looking for a spring/summer scent. Wel lets say just a scent for the warmer months for during the daytime

I am doubting between the following, I never owned either of them before

- Issey Miyake - L'eau d Issey Miyake Homme
- Issey Miyake - L'eau d Issey Miyake Homme Sport
- Hermes - Voyage d' Hermes
- Jill Sander - Sun day ( men) That is a (very) new flanker

So that was for the stuff I never owned or smelled.

The other option I have is rebuying a scent I already have owned

- Jill Sander - Sun (men)
- GA - Aqua di Gio ( I have had this scent when I was about 14 years old) I am now almost double that age, never bought it again, it was at that time a gift. What I can remember it smelled nice, but hey what did I know about scents at that age

So please tell me what one you should pick from the scents that I didnt own yet and then please tell me if you would pick one of the scent I already had above one I didn't have.

And please tell me why you pick the one you choose

Check out Bergamatto Marino. Very well done marine notes and very concentrated for an edc.

From your list, Issey miyake is really good Sumer scent and could easily be worn all season.

Hermes - Voyage d' Hermes

L'eau d Issey Pour Homme, perfect warm weather scent. Plus its a proven compliment getter which never hurts.

+1. Voyage is pretty nice also.

But I personally like these better: Dior Homme Sport, Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, and Versace Man Eau Fraiche.

Versace Eau Fraiche is a nice one. Maybe Hanae Mori as well.

Try Gucci Pour Homme II if you can.

Out of your choices, I'd go with ADG. Far better than either Of the Issey's.

Aqua di gio or try the new essenza version

Hi all. Thank you for your answers so far.

I do have got a question about Aqua di Gio. As it has been wel over 10 years ago since I last owned it.. Has it been reformulated and would you say it is better now then back then? And when you had to choose betwee Aqua di gio or Aqua di gio Essenza. What would be your picking then.

Today I triend Voyage d Hermes edt and Issey Miyake pour homme Not shure what to think about the Voyage. I found it to ' flowery' compared to the Issey. So from those two I would pick Issey Miyake.

Furthermore I reed a lot of things about Creed GIT/Aventus but where I live it is almost non existing. The local chains do not have them and in a rage of a 100 km there isnt a supplier who has got them.

I am wondering. Davidoff cool water > It stinks on my skin. I find it disgusting. And what I read that is the scent is is compard to a lot. Would GIT also have that same bad smell. Creed Git/Aventus is quite expensive though. For a 75 ML bottle around €130 Git/€140 for Aventus I can get two of my scents mentioned above ( well maybe add a couple of euro's though...)

- Issey Miyake - L'eau d Issey Miyake Homme
I'm on to my 3rd bottle of this, its one of my staples.

- Issey Miyake - L'eau d Issey Miyake Homme Sport
An example of everything that is dreadful about aquatic scents. Just Plain Nasty.

- Hermes - Voyage d' Hermes
Sometimes subtle is lovely. Not this time. Too subtle. Almost not there.

- Jill Sander - Sun day ( men) That is a (very) new flanker
Jill Sander stuff isn't sold in the UK.

As for AdG. I don't like it. Its also got the seaweed/algae smell I do not like that is in so many aquatics. Better but also with this smell is Versace Man Eau Fraiche. Better with this smell I don't like toned down is Givenchy pour Homme Blue Label.

I would also recommend that you check out some Vetiver based fragrances, very good for spring and summer. Do a forum search for Vetiver, you will find many, many threads.
