Discovering Yatagan lost brother: EGON, by Egon Von Furstenberg (late 1980's)

This fragrance is so rare, that doesn't even exist in any database (not to be confused with Egon Homme, year 2001):

EGON, by prince Egon Von Furstenberg

(launched about at the end of the Eighties)
It could be described as a "flanker" of Yatagan by Caron: if you like those strange, "animalic" notes, you will like this scent.

an inusual wooden, rhomboidal cap.

Vintage Yatagan is superb, truly lovely and haunting.
Will be interested in any comments on this.

Another to try is Les Copains Homme, which doesn't have the "synthetic stickiness" I dislike about the recent Yatagan formulation.

Thanks for the info. It's always great to discover hidden/less known gems.
