Morning All,

Wearing Cadjméré quite by accident (grabbed the wrong atomiser; intended to wear Cuir de Russie).
Snow flurries here too, and bitterly cold.

Have a good Monday, folks.

The R.Piguet Mademoiselle again, but over the mango body lotion...it does coordinate well, certainly. I dunno, it is nice and I'm enjoying so glad for the sample but thinking not something that I would buy.

Hello my loves! Missed you all terribly over the weekend, Been working on re-modeling my hideous bathroom, hopefully into a beautiful one, we shall see. Every time I had a free second to post, wouldn't you know BN was down. So nice to see you all finally!

Weather is rainy and grey like jujy's, as per the norm. We are practically neighbors!

No.5 EDT for me today. Have as good a Monday as can be had, everyone!

Good afternoon everyone. Silences today. A rare blind buy for me but it wasn't exactly a big risk. Yes, I like it. It chimes with the same tone as Cabochard.

Good Luck with the bathroom re-modelling PL. Ours is almost finished and I'm loving it!

Wrapped in Chanel today. Started with Bois des Îles EdT and now I've been in the mood for N°5 Eau Première.
We're actually in the 40s today, so I broke out the Chanel #22. It's so bright and sparkly. I forgot how much I love it over the winter. C'mon Spring!!

Just got home after a day in school.
We had freezing temperatures, icy winds, sunshine, then a snow
blizzard! I am going to have a hot bath to warm up before
heading out to my choir practice.
Wore Douceur de Vanille but will swap to Omnia for tonight.

PerfumedLady, I doubt whether anything in your home is remotely hideous - nothing wrong with being a perfectionist though .

We received 8 inches of snow yesterday, but temps are supposed to be pretty moderate this week, so hopefully it will melt quickly.

Good evening!

The snow has stopped, (for now) but we still have biting arctic winds. So l'm back in one of my winter favourites, lmperial Opoponax.
southerngardens - I believe you're the very first person to comment on Prélude since I've been here! Strangely enough, I was absolutely thrilled when it was released because it reminded me of a favorite scent from childhood, Avon's original SkinSoSoft, which is a bath oil and skincare line that I've always loved, and I'd been searching for a similar perfume. Well, the similarity is so striking that I felt like I'd hit the jackpot! From reviews I've read, people seem to be drawn to its amber base, but my favorite parts are the fresh, herbal-green and outdoorsy top and middle notes, and I always layer it with my SSS oil or lotion to extend them (and if you're not already familiar with SSS I highly recommend you check it out.) At any rate, you chose well - it's a fantastic unisex fragrance!

Like ExtremeK, we got a whole ung*dly ton of snow -- think Snowglobe USA blizzard -- and I could not make it home from work, it is only a bit over a mile but would have been a treacherous walk. So, I spent a night at work (finish at 2230 and start a new shift at 0630 did not help coming home either), and am posting only now. A kind Samaritan -- I know him too -- came on a large John Deere and scooped us up, said "Sorry it took me so long, I started getting phone calls at 4 in the morning". So, today we are slowly melting and expecting tons of mud.

Thanks E on your kind words about Eau de Protection. After a bath and a nap -- 1 whole hour! -- I changed into Crabtree & Evelyn Evelyn to smell just like 30R.

LOL Mike!! She's been referring to the stitches as "zipper".
At my request the Dr. gave her a referral for PT for her shoulder, and she starts that tomorrow. Initially I was worried that she might have a rotator cuff injury, but her range of motion is gradually increasing. I think it's just sore tissues and bruising.

Twolf, that is some adventure you had! In any case, you and I smell marvelous!
Did Mr. T do the shoveling?
30 Roses and Twolf, you are making me feel my Evelyn deprivation most acutely. I ran out ages ago and have yet to find a suitable replacement.

SOTE is BPAL The Peacock Queen.

Posting late today as I had a hair appointment in Grand Forks at noon. The roads were terrible when I started out, pure ice, they slowly improved and it turned out to be a sunny and warm day, with a high of 25F. Well, warm for Minnesota in March, lol. I checked out the local TJ Maxx and they finally had C & E Evelyn, they are very slow to get what other stores have. So this afternoon for a short spell I was scent triplets with 30Roses and Twolf. I don't know why I have such a hankering for rose lately, but I do. I'm sure it will shortly be exchanged for gardenia and frangipani, so I'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

SotE is Dior Addict.

Have a nice evening!

I could be wrong, but I tried Unknown Pleasures a few weeks ago, isn't it by Kerosene?

Sympathy! There's eBay, of course, but the prices are ghastly.
There is one that is somewhat similar, but not as complex, and that is Woods of Windsor True Rose.

Triplets, hooray!
I think we are all just tired of winter and longing for warm weather to come around.

Of course it is! duh! Blame my mistake on Monday-after-the-stupid-time-change-brain-death. It's a lovely fragrance anyways ...
