I'm going to the US in August and I'm thinking of buying a summer fragrance for me.
Which one would be best for summer days and nights in your opinion, guys?
Lacoste Essential or Ck One Summer 2012?

Neither. I personally would pick Versace Man Eau Fraiche.

But if I had to choose, I'll go with CK One, only because the other one is a Lacoste.

Never tried CK One Summer, but I just tried Lacoste Essential two days ago. Not bad.

Essential is one of my favorite summer scents. We have a looooooong summer here in Southern California so I get to wear this quite a bit!

My pick would be Lacoste Essential. Clean, fresh, and inoffensive -- not a bad fragrance.

Some Summers are better than others. I believe the 08 and 11 flankers were standouts. I havent tried 2012. I do enjoy wearing Essential on a hot day - clean, green, and quite unique among a crowded field of fresh-focused fragrance. That said, I consider it a daytime scent only.

I actually prefer Lacoste Essential Sport (blue juice) over the regular Essential. It's a very tart grapefruit scent that lasts pretty much all day. The 2012 version of CK One Summer is ok, but the apple note was a bit much for me.

Also, have any of you tried the 2013 version of Ck Summer?
I'm not so sure I will be able to find the 2012 version in August :/

I say don't bring a fragrance - that way you'll be forced to shop up a storm when you get there

Another vote for Lacoste Essential. Tart citrus green with a linear profile which works a treat in summery climates.

That's exactly what I'll do
But then again, my father is allergic to any fragrances and he gets heavy headaches from them.
So, as I'm going with my parents, I won't be able to wear fragrances there haha.

Oh, and I'm going to Vegas and then New York

I've been testing both for a while, and even if I absolutely love essential, I'm more inclined to buy Ck Summer 2012, because if I don't do it now, it will be discontinued.
But are they still carrying the 2012 version at macys or any other shops in the usa?
