Lorenzo Villoresi Garofano Discontinued?

OK, I know that this is not the most popular fragrance in the world. I'm glad I have a bottle of it, but I must confess that I rarely wear it. On hot days, it makes me smell like a greenhouse full of carnations, which is great, but not something for everyday wear. At any rate, I just noticed that it has been deleted from Lorenzo Villoresi's website. Does anybody else mourn the demise of this one? I suspect not, and that this thread will just go unresponded to, or some may post that they never liked it. Oh. well. I think I'll wear it tomorrow.

You might shoot them an e-mail to see what the true situation or status is.

I think I will, especially since Vetiver is also gone. I'll report back what I hear.

It's available in the UK at Les Senteurs.

Won't be missed by me

I had a decant of it, when I first joined BN, when I was unaccustomed to such explosive and true-to-life florals like this. I remember thinking - WOW! It was like I was locked in a warehouse full of carnations. I had to learn to wear this one lightly applied, underneath clothes and far away from my face. When I did this, it was very pleasing.

Nonetheless, after this I tended to gravitate to the softer carnations (like Malmaison by Floris) or scents that integrate the carnation note among other florals/woods like vintage L'Air du Temps by Nina Ricci and the fantastic Equipage by Hermes.

Please post Tony, once you hear back from Villoresi.

I will, Mike. I've heard nothing back yet, though.
