Fragrances with unique notes that "pop"

I'm curious as to what fragrances out there have notes that are very distinct/unique that "pop" off a fragrance. Really I'm looking to test people pleasing/versatile fragrances with a distinctness about them. So many fragrances seem to be full of too many notes that all blend together, have a very similar vibe (aka "smells like ADG" or the coming onslaught of 1 Million clones). On the other end are (some) niche fragrances that are super dark/pungent/opulent/challenging/projection bombs which exist more to smell alone than be worn.

I guess I'm looking fragrances that elicit a "never smelled a cologne like it" type vibe.

Not a masculine smelling offer in the conventional way but Tubereuse Couture by Parfumerie Generale has this sugar cane note that I haven't smelled in any other fragrances which adds a big element of surprise to the fragrance

Richard by Micallef (Private Line) is one that comes to mind.

Ormonde Jayne's Ormonde Woman and Ormonde Man both share a unique note (the black hemlock maybe?).

Dior Homme Intense (vintage). The Iris note hits you right away.

The hay in Chergui stands out, in a nice way.

Hi there!

Hermes Voyage has the most incredible and distinctive opening with a rocking Juniper.
EFM Geranium Pour Monsieur is also very distinctive with it's minty geranium.
The sea spray that sploshes you in Heeley's Sel Marin is great.
Heeley's Menthe Fraiche, really minty but it works.

Thanks for the input, I'll definitely have to try some (I was already looking into Sel Marin for example).

Hammam Bouquet has a very unique top note, very heady and vaporish. I think it is orris root mixed with something else. I love this top note.

Vetiver Tonka from Hermes

The tangy, bitter tamarind note in Perry Ellis 360 Black provides an intriguing discordant aspect that is unusual when played against the sweet La Nuit type drydown. It's a cheapie that's very intriguing and grows on you because of that odd tamarind note.

I also tend toward things that are likable, but not TOO easy, so I like a little edge or element that gives a fragrance (or any work, really) character.

From my own experience, frags that accomplish this include:

Dior Homme, where the iris surprises in a men's fragrance but ties the whole thing together
Body Kouros, with its odd eucalyptus note
Comme des Garçons Odeur 71 would be too arch and synthetic for me without its natural green notes
M7 is, at heart, an amber, but its balsamic vetiver/mandrake/oud accord element makes it a wearable weirdo
Bvlgari Black is surprisingly affable given its unique rubber note

Hard not to mention A*Men with its tar and lavender against all that caramel and chocolate, but I'm not sure I like this one, in the end

Wazamba- very unique

Creed Orange Spice. The notes just pop out at you and do all kinds of wonderful things.

Mazzolari Lui hits you with a massive dose of dark, sexy, animalic amber. A beast.

Lorenzo Villoresi's Piper Nigrum for sure. That black pepper/eucalyptus blast really pops, and also lasts for a long time.

Penhaligons Endymion- yes, a gourmand, but quite unique, with a wealth of creamy, but also partly sage-like notes

I don't know what it is in Noir de Noir, but something in there goes straight to the center of my brain and says "drown yourself in this", far more than any of the hundred+ fragrances I've sampled lately.
