Wow, I've never started a SOTD before. Good morning.
I'm beginning the day in crisp, smooth Encens et Lavande.

Congratulations Schilling on your first SOTD post!

Good morning, everyone! We're in the middle of a blizzard, snow has been falling since yesterday afternoon and the winds have really picked up. My son left for work at 6 and got stuck in our driveway, he's got a 4 wheel drive truck and never gets stuck. My husband had to pull him out with the tractor. Conditions are really bad at the moment. I was suppose to go for lab work this morning in Grand Forks, but I'll have to change it and go tomorrow instead. You'ld never know that spring is only 2 days away, lol.

Wearing YSL Belle d'Opium.

Have a great day!

Oh, my Kiliwia, I'm glad you decided to stay home today.

Looks like we are going to be getting a storm (the same storm?) late afternoon today into tomorrow, with accumulations expected. They are saying 3-6", but last week they said that and it was closer to 11-12" where we are. (Thankfully, my husband got the wheel back onto the snow blower this weekend.) I suspect the schools will be closed again tomorrow. Goodbye, April school break-- the kids have overused their snow day allowance by too many days at this point to salvage it, I'm sure.

Good morning, everyone! Thanks Schilling - nice job!

I'm in Chanel for ballet, No 22, vintage edt and just the edt ...I'm practicing restraint.

Bonjour Mesdames!

Unlike Evangeline, I am *not* practicing restraint, and am in mango body lotion and Jailia! Also the coffee coco curl cream from Curl Junkie. Very good smells. Smelling tropical in the subtropics.
You always make that trio sound so scrumptious, Robin.

Good afternoon.

First and most important, A belated Happy Birthday to our own *Dora*. I hope that you had a lovely day and that many wonderful things will come your way.

L'Eau D'Hiver for me yesterday and today. Really enjoying the calm Heliotrope, Iris, Caramel, Almond. Beautiful.

! LOL. Great smells wafting over from Great Britain.

Good morning. I am not practicing restraint either, in Van Cleef & Arpels First extrait. Did not get much snow yet, but it is very windy and cold. Agree, last year we were sitting on a bench in the park at the end of February (well, at least, we are possibly out of the drought this year, with all that precip).

Have a nice week, family.
Good morning everyone. One thing I love about Monday morning is catching up on the threads from the weekend. You all make me smile, and on this cold-will-winter-NEVER-die Monday morning, that was a great thing.

I'm in Cologne pour le Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, and with every wearing of my sample I get closer to thinking I need a bottle. I'm so bad with notes, but something about this one makes me think of Traversee du Bosphore, which I have bought a partial bottle of. I've got to really learn more about notes this year.

Kiliwia, I'm glad you're not taking chances. Horrible to hear about MORE SNOW! I just want blue skies and warmth.
Wow, the weather is crazy. The snow has gone north of us, apparently to dump on Kiliwia For all those getting snow, hopefully you can limit your outs-and-about to the essentials. Please do be careful.

Schilling, you smell lovely. EeL is one of my favorite warmer-uppers

I'm note-twinned with G in my sample of Dries van Noten from Jane, the wonderful SA at Barneys Las Vegas. With the sunny but chilly weather, it seemed like a sandalwood kind of day.

Have a good Monday!

Serge Lutens ~ Un Bois Vanille.
Morning all. I'm starting the week trying to finish off some samples/decants. Today is Guerlain Bois d'Armenie.
Afternoon all!

Do be careful all of you struggling with the snow. Still pouring with rain here.

SOTD is Donna Karan Gold.

Have a great week, everyone!
Schilling - I haven't smelled EeL in years. I have been contemplating getting a decant of it to revisit it. I am such a BIG lavender fan these days. It's one of my go-to notes in my wardrobe.
Sunny & beautiful weather here in Miami ((yes, I'm gloating))

Another day in:

Habit Rouge vintage EdT by Guerlain

It seems to be a weekday favorite of mine. I noticed this morning, the citrus in the vintage EdT is not as 'bright' as the other versions I have, and I actually prefer it that way. It has a dulled, brown-ness to it that is reflective, complex and intriguing.

I woke up this morning to the hissing sound of sleet hitting the roof, and the ground outside heavily dusted in wet, white slush. Yuck. It seems spring is taking its time this year. The birds cheep on nevertheless - they know we're right on schedule. B-belle keeps them in birdseed. Things could be worse.

I'm wearing Prada Infusion d'Iris this morning. Love to everybody. xo
post #31 of 40
G'day folks !. All good things come to an end - home on UK soil again, with it's familiar damp and grey backdrop.
Not returning to the grindstone until Wednesday though, so this working week will be pleasantly short. Glad to be back on BN anyway

About to change from today's SotD (Colonia Intensa) and indulge in a little understated elegance for the evening with Arquiste Aleksandr.

Best to everyone .
Freezing cold and snowy here in Northern Italy, too. Though I love winter I'm beginning to long for spring.
Séville Ã* l'Aube has been my scent of the afternoon, a patchouli, maybe, will be my scent of the evening.
Have a nice evening
Bois de Fruits is my choice for the day. Woke up, got ready for work, and then got a call so I slid back into bed.
Evening All,

ExtremeK - I love the idea of a 'note twin' ! How are you finding the new Malle ? I've only had the opportunity to test it the once a couple of weeks ago.
Welcome home, Jon. We saved the lovely weather for your return

Mitsouko EdP tonight.
Best to all.
Welcome back Jon, sounds like a lovely weekend!

Revisiting my sample of Nohiba by E.Coudray this evening; a very retro-style aldehydic woody floral.

Moschino today.

Hey y'all -

I'm in La Perla this afternoon.

Amouage Al Mas for me.
It was a short night for me, I got called in for an emergency at the hospital and didn't get home til really late (or early morning as it was!) The alarm hurt this morning ... I grabbed Dolce Vita because it seemed cheerful. After coming home and grabbing a nap, I feel much better!

Hugs to all ...
