I love oud, vanilla, and natural green notes, even green florals. I love rose. I like animalic notes.

I hate chocolate, anise, and artificial-smelling notes such as rubber.

Apricot (a likable scent but for some reasons perfume that contain apricot usually ends up smell like sweat on skin)

Don't want to come across as a wiseass, but it's usually various 'accords' that make up a fragrance. I mean linalool or lavender is in most fragrances, but I don't hate them all - it depends how it's used. It's the same with civet - when used judiciously you could hardly distinguish it. I don'y know of any fragrance that just smells of civet. Just an observation.

There's a big difference between eating chocolate or vanilla and smelling like it. I never understood wanting to go around smelling like a batch of mom's cookies. But to each his own.

Agreed! I like pork chops but I don't want to smell of them.

Current least favorites: Jasmine, Immortal (smells stale on me everytime + lasts too long), musk, patchouli, amber, neroli (when done too strong), aldehydes.

Update: oh ya.. although it's great in some fragrances, it's horrible in so many more, and sooooooooo played out: TONKA BEAN

(can't do just one)

Love:- ambergris, mysore, oudh, leather, all animalics, heavy vetivers/patchoulies (in fact all the real stinkies)

Not fond :- Tuberose (only when used badly), harsh acrid synths of any kind, overly fruity notes, overly sweet notes
