Amateur Perfumers Meet-up in London?

Thought I'd post this here as well as the DIY forum....

I haven't been on this forum long and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this - but I was wondering if any amateur perfumers or even complete amateur/perfume enthusiasts are in the habit of meeting up to discuss making perfume or trading tips/methods in the London area?

I would really like to do this and learn more about the subject (and possibly avoid a very expensive course).

If this is an old subject or if I'm going over old ground please point me towards a link/group/thread.

I'm on a couple of musical forums where people meet up in pubs/venues and get chinwagging. It's a lot of fun and you get to make friends and learn a bit.

Perhaps it's not the done thing here?

I would consider this, and London would probably be the best area, due to the proximity of the boutiques and stores.

This probably isn't the best forum to post this in though, no-one ever seems to see it, being at the bottom of the page. Try one of the main boards.

I would be really interested in joining/getting a group off the ground. I'm an aromatherapist and natural perfumer and run introductory workshops at the moment on blending and would love to meet/chat to fellow enthusiasts/hobbyists etc ...it would be great to have a monthly informal meet up! Get in touch ..
