While on a camping trip this weekend I found a tree that had been wounded a couple years ago or more. It was dripping sap and resin heavily and I collected some of it. What I want to do is dissolve this resin in oil and use it in a lamp diffuser. From reading older basenotes posts I've decided the best thing to do is dissolve it in warm jojoba oil.
Before I do this does anyone have recommendations for the best % concentration or an oil that would be better to use?
I'm not sure the specific species of this tree but I think it was a pine.
