My alternate holy grail - Krigler's Good Fir

I don't use the phrase "holy grail" lightly and so this term is truly well-deserved here.
This is my alternate Holy Grail coniferous scent (to Slumberhouse Norne).
Good Fir is a delightful scent! Very pine, green, fresh. It has a zen-like simplicity and natural quality which really appeals to me. At times a slight turpentine note is there in the early stage, though not as powerful as CdG's Hinoki. Also there is a slight medicinal-herbal note. I like all of those things. Uplifting and invigorating. Zippy-green frankincense and grassy vetiver. Really an ideal scent for me.
Notes: green incense, vetiver, pine needle, musk

I'd say -- for those with Conehead aspirations, this is a must-try. It is somewhat pricey and mostly available only on-line. But it really is excellent and worth seeking.

Your opinion of Good Fir has improved since last mentioned in 2011! (Krigler now wants $255 for 100mL.) Given that you were spot on with Boise--and given that I am a dyed-in-the-wool Conehead--I am delighted to follow your recommendation here on Good Fir. Thanks!

I think Krigler is out of bounds, so to speak. I was about to order samples of Good Fir and others, but balked at the samples price: $7.50 for 1mL. Wow! I am happy to pay $20 for 7 samples from Aedes, willing to pay $4 or $5 a pop for samples from LuckyScent, but I can't swallow doubling that amount with Krigler. And I told them as much in a follow-up email.
