- 1. What was your first fragrance?
A long since discontinued perfume called Love, from a Swedish mail order company Fleur de Sante. I was probably about 10 years old. My first "grown-up" perfume was Paris by YSL.
- 2. Desert Island fragrance?
Eau de New York because it's fresh, reminds me of good things and might repel bugs as a bonus.
3. Favourite book?
Impossible to choose. Probably Perdido Street Station by China Mieville.
4. Favourite film?
The Dark Crystal.
5. Favourite food?
6. Favourite place in the world?
A perfume lab for flow. A Finnish summer cottage by a lake for calm.
7. Favourite music/Desert Island Disc?
The Fifth Element soundtrack.
8. What hobbies/interests do you have apart from fragrance?
My main obsessions are reading, writing, cosmetics and perfume. I used to play a fair amount of computer games but don't have the time these days. I enjoy science fiction, graphic novels and popular science books. Whenever there is heavy snowfall, I'm compelled to make a snow Totoro.
