Date's spot on. I stopped wearing it when one of my sister's friends referred to it as "Lemon Pledge."
Like any scent for me: anytime.
When I wore this fragrance I was known as "cologne guy" Strangely at the time I really liked sport fragrances, so I am not sure why I was drawn to this scent. Oh wait, it was dirt cheap at the pharmacy.
Seeking: Bottles/decants : of Aramis New West, Alain Delon Iquitos, Feeling Man, Gucci pour Homme, Essence of John Galliano, Oxford & Cambridge, Azzaro pour Homme (vintage),...etc.
Seeking decant/sample of PdE Ambre Russe, Jil Sander Feeling Man, Comme des Garcons 2 Man, Giorgio VIP, ....etc. I have samples to swap.
Please PM me !
Friday night, 9pm.
Unless you're starting early.
i dont get it. ive never thought this was TOO dated or anything. i actual think itd be nice with one spray in cold weather
Besides the funny replies, Drakkar Noir isnt dated, only watered down.
Perfect for summer, i like this scent very much, but isnt strong as i read (maybe the vintages, not the current one)
I wouldn't say it's dated, but it brings back such strong memories of that era. . . We would all be meeting in a bar for a night out, and one guy would have bathed in the stuff. Any complaint would be met by the assertion that "girls like it," as if there was something wrong with the rest of us.
That the guys that doused themselves in it looked down guys that doused themselves in Axe/Lynx only made it so much funnier.
There are, of course, far, far worse scents. I'd give it a solid four out of five stars. I'll get hated for this, but I always had it down as a more refined Quorum.

I find it works best in summer with a light to medium application. Again this is only a bad one if over applied.
Any season, mainly colder seasons though

I only have a little of Drakkar Noir After Shave left, and nowadays prefer the subtler Drakkar (1972).

It's one of my favourite scents so I guess I'm a bit biased but IMO you could wear it during/in pretty much any season/place.
When my sister's hott hott friend called it "Lemon Pledge" I was put off it for life. I was in my teens at that time, and if you'd seen this woman you'd most certainly understand where I'm coming from here. . . sigh. . .
Currently, it’s in my rotation from late winter to early spring (40-55 degrees).
For those about to stink, I salute you!
