    Emporio Code Diamonds might be perfect for you. I would describe it exactly as more fresh, equally spicy, and less sweet. You might check out Code Ultimate too.

    As a lifelong fan of Armani/Black Code...I've pretty much settled on Special Blend at this point, which I wouldn't say is any fresher, but is probably a tad spicier and also a tad less sweet. Until you get to the dry down, that is....and once it becomes a skin scent, it IS a bit sweet. Very nice, but somewhat sweet Overall, though, it's very similar to the original...it's just a tad spicier and has a slight bit more of a "wow" factor. And I would also say that it is what many would call or consider "a compliment getter".
