Default Tauer Lonestar Memories - Who else is ordering?

Just ordered a bottle from the Andy's web site http://www.tauerperfumes.com/tauerperfumes.html.

This stuff sounds real good, and if it is anything like L'air du desert marocain, it will be. I can't get enough of it.

Who else is considering ordering some?

Since they were kind enough to send out samples of LDDM, maybe they would do the same for this one.

I actually haven't sniffed any of his creations and I have no idea why I've waited. They all sound so incredibly lovely that I really shouldn't hesitate any longer...

I was intrigued with the scent when I was first was told about it, even though I feel that the whole Brokeback-hype is a bit dated...

It DOES sound very Brokeback though that was set in Wyoming wasn't it and Texas is the Lonestar state?! *

Scenteur 7 has a great review of it on his site:

I LOVE all the perfumes he creates - I can not wear the Rose scent, but others drive me crazy.
I`m sure I`ll buy the leather cologne after sampling!

I ordered a sample from his website, slightly reluctantly as the sample price was a steep $7 (including S&H of course). I hope it's worth it. Oh, and I have a decant of the desert one on its way to my house so I really hope I like what this Tauer guy does.

I'm not generally a fan of leather, but this is oh so beautiful. I think you'll see that it's worth it.

I can't wait to try this one. LDDM is a great scent, and I have become a slave to leather (scents that is), and am sure this will push all the right buttons. I emailed Lucky Scent about it, and they said to check back in about a month as it's not yet officially released here in the US. Guess I'll have to wait...

Oh, I'm sure that I will want it. I love all things leather, and LDDM has really grabbed me. I almost bought LDDM the other day, but decided to wait until I try the Lonestar Memories.
    I've trademarked the color bleu

;D I did exactly the same! Marlen's review stopped me in my tracks.

I ordered a sample - those darn basenotes (myrrh, tonka, sandalwood) did me in.

I just ordered the bottle together with the bottle of L'air du desert Marocain. Thanks for the info. Love Tauers!

On me, both pretty good. LDDM has a ton of sillage to start, but quiets down a bit as it dries. Though I can still smell it on myself as I wear it, even a 3-4 hours in. Overall longevity for me is about 6-8 hours or more. It gets very ambery toward the end, and as it does, it also gets softer and quieter.

The women's rosier scent projects a lot too, maybe more, and lasts about the same, maybe a tad less on me. As it dries, it gets more unisex. Even then, I don't know if I would wear it. It has a deep, mysterious, warm, and exotic tone to it that would be very alluring on a woman.
