Default For the "sophisticated luxury mobile phone user"

"Vancouver, Canada - June 11th, 2006: Mobiado, luxury mobile phones manufacture, in
cooperation with Bissol, manufacturer of luxury fragrances--today unveils Perfume No. 919 for
Men (Mobiado Limited Edition). Perfume No. 919 for Men (Mobiado Limited Edition) is the first
fragrance designed specifically for the sophisticated luxury mobile phone user."

    http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/cellp...ser-180208.php

"Perfume No. 919 is a clean, fresh, youthful scent with top notes of mandarin, juniper berry, elemi; middle notes of white musk, bamboo, oakmoss; and base notes of vanilla, cedarwood, sandalwood."

I think I'm going to pass on general principles.

So...is it OK for a non-luxury mobile phone user to wear luxury mobile phone user-scents? And if it is, which ones are more suitable?

I don't understand how wood notes equals a cell phone...I equate electronic/digital scents with a rubbery, burnt circuit note...

So every bottle comes with deodorant so people can smell the scent as you hold your cell phone to your ear?

Or does it smell like medicine so you won't feel disoriented when they drop you in the ambulance from your car after your call distracts you from the road?

Or perhaps a bottle that looks like one of those wearable bluetooth earpieces.

OK, I'm out of silly now.

Actually, depending on the proportions, the notes sound as though this might be pretty intriguing. Maybe somebody should license this from them and give it a more conventional market orientation. It might not be too bad...

Sometimes I wish this kind of companies had a marketing department that could ask itself the question "does this make ANY sense at all?".

Honestly, this sounds like a Monty Python sketch that never made it to TV...

    Hummer, Ferrari, ... and now...

    Lear Jet Fuel?
    Eau de Circuit Board?

The connection between high tech and perfumery is not one easily made except by marketing companies who have run out of other ideas.

when my new Panasonic cellphone arrived, I really liked the scent of its new box with all plastic and brand new instructional booklet etc..

ha ha they could make a cologne based on that scent, and Eau De Panasonic would be a great name. :
