Thread: MPG question

    Default MPG question

I found a sample of MPG and all it says on the sample is Eau De Toilette MPG. How do I know what fragrance it is? I adore the sample and I'm interested in this house. I've gone to the MPG website and do not see this as a listed frag like Santal Noble, etc... Thanks.

Even the full-size bottles usually just have a clear stick-on strip with the name of the exact fragrance. Examine your vial more closely and see if there's anything else on there. Some companies, like l'Artisan, don't put the name on the vial, just on the card it's attached to. It could be that if you've lost the card, you've lost the name.

Can you give a fairly detailed description of the scent? One of us might be able to narrow it down to one or two possibilities...

I double checked the glass sample and there's no name on it but MPG Eau De Toilette. My first impression is the scent smells somewhat like Guerlain Vetiver - fresh, green yet sweeter - maybe a hint of orange. Thanks for your time, Jaime!

Could be Racine or Eau Pour le Jeune Homme. They have both been compared to Guerlain's Vetiver. With the orange, it's probably more likely the latter.

Thanks guys. For sure -- vetiver and orange is what I detect.

    Perhaps it's Centaure?
