I must admit the ad is darn sexy....I'd love to have Natalia Vodianova lick my neck
Thread: Euphoria Men Calvin Klein
INTERNATIONAL. Coty Prestige is set to complement its Euphoria by Calvin Klein women’s fragrance with a masculine version, Euphoria Men. The scent will be launched globally in September.
In line with its feminine counterpart, the concept and positioning will be provocative, sensual, exotic and uninhibited.
The juice, described as an “addictive fresh oriental”, features a blend of fresh and rich elements, such as ginger pepper, patchouli, and a creamy suede accord.
The flacon incorporates clean, square lines, topped with a rectangular aluminium cap. The outer carton is a burnished bronze.
The Euphoria Men product line-up comprises 50ml and 100ml edt sprays, plus a 100ml after shave, a 200ml after shave balm, a 200ml body wash and a 75g deodorant.
The Euphoria Men launch will be supported by both print and TV advertising, featuring models Natalia Vodianova (the face of Euphoria for women) and Andrew Stetson.
She would be biting his neck if it was Rive Gauche.
Peace ~ Markymark
So Scentimus did you finally get your bottle ???
Yes, scentimus- Did you get it? The closer the men's is to the women's the better, IMHO.

I like the sound of 'addictive fresh oriental'.
Do you really want a model with the last name Stetson pushing your new juice? Too many bad memories are associated with Stetson.

definitely it's not an addictive fresh oriental! it smells like everything else ;( they really screwed it up, they had a huge success with the women's version!
It doesnt surprise me that it sucks. Invariably, whenever the mens version of a scent gets released, it almost ALWAYS sucks azz. Thats why i wear womens scents, because they are better. There is only one mens scent that i think is better than its female counterpart and that is A*men.Originally Posted by MCocteau

I look forward to it. It should be interesting from the description.
Calvin knows how to make a man's scent. The only releases of his I haven't liked that much were Crave and Truth, but oddly enough, I've recently taken a liking to Truth. And his more recent CKOne Summer 2006 I keep sniffing every time I go past it ( but I have difficulty forking out good money on unisex scents).
P.S. The ad doesn't look all that euphoric to me, they look half asleep rather than elated.

I'm a little surprized it was launched in France before the US.
it smells pretty casual: men's freshness with a spicy stuff. made me think of very light armani code, very light Truth or some deodorant. sorry
Light Armani Code doesn't sound bad to me at all but light Truth...Originally Posted by MCocteau
I for one was really looking forward to this, but am not sure whether or not I like it! It is very generic, and similar to the worst of the Boss fragrances, but it is disappointing as it smells a lot like what is already out there (surprise surprise). The previous review was accurate in describing it as a light armani code. Unsure.
I can't picture this. I see Truth and Code as totally unrelated scents. I actually recently bought the women's Euphoria for my gf...she likes it, but my enthusiasm faded...probably because she keeps wearing it in the heat and it smells a lot like Angel on the drydown :-/ If the men's version is related, I would be happy, but there are enough sweet mens' scents out there. I just want some characterOriginally Posted by MCocteau
Code is quite similar to Truth for women, both smells like bug-spray.
If Euphoria is like FCUK Him, then I am sold!
Tried it today and it is yet another boring and generic men's fragrance. They were even trying to give a bag away with it to try and sell it.
I like to spray this with L'homme and was amazed cause I just compared the notes(looked at the notes of each before but seperately this time I looked at them side by side) and was amazed at the similarities no wonder I like this combo. Love those "Rave" woods of euphoria definitely a well chosen name I dont think any other fragrance captures the spirit or atmosphere of a Rave like euphoria(definitely evokes thoughts of the future and or ecstacy we had aqua di gio in the 90s but this would have been better) which is why its near the top of my list but I agree it is missing something and smells cheap on its own because its a CK but what do expect from what CK is as a business brand(too shrewd(aka cheap) from a business perspecitve somewhat like ck clothes minimalist and cheap to produce but definitely have a reserved futuristic functionalist feel and somewhat metro but I realize not aggressive as europe.) Its missing vanillic notes or something creamy I'm sure others could come up with other options to fill its gaps. I tried la nuit and I liked L'homme more but it is a bit feminine(in that way) for a man but it is definitely designed for men to like too bad its in that way. The woman at the store called L'homme an office scent I don't think thats its intended target....................... still is there anything else like euphoria out there? I doubt it. On its own its not the greatest scent but its definitely above a 9 not a perfect 10 but pretty high definitely a thumbs up and if layered with something that fills its gaps its pretty amazing it wont last all day like Dior Homme Intense but when it kicks off for the first 6 hours its even better than DHI. I notice vanillic scents tend to be feminine or even if for men homosexual.... Euphoria straightens out L'homme while DHI has that cocoa base almost like its pushing mulitculturalism(liberal like dubstep displacing house and trance) or the idea of it I think european cologne has become too political and the mix of Euphoria and L'homme is ultra modern great scent and sillage smells straight not gay and doesnt have an ulterior political agenda which it seems almost all other popular colognes do for these reasons I think its better than DHI(DHI is good but to me not as good as this combo tho it lasts longer DHI). My goal is not to offend but it is my perspective if you find it offensive I don't care.... I think the hate this fragrance receives is rooted in some other bias.... deoderant? doesnt smell like that at all all the people who criticize it I dont see them mention anything else this smells like that beats it soundly or any realistic reason they dont like it(this is not meant to be an armani code or some other richer fragrance this is a light "rave" scent like a light trance track) other than stating so(which often means there is no reason). I havent smelled as much as most on basenotes but this is definitely not as bad as characterized(and I doubt there is anything like it) which makes me question the validity of all many of the fragrances put down here that get rave reviews elsewhere.
I just got 24 gold today and I think this is a very good cologne maybe its 10% cheap smelling(but the strength and grand nature of it more than make up infact I found it robbed me of my ability to get pissed off even DHI didnt do that the first time tho I admit it intoxicated me, but 24 Gold intoxicated me more) but definitely not as bad as something like versache dreamer. Obviously there is a strong european bias in this forum but allot of those while very refined maybe they are too refined (like a Stax SR-009(one of the best headphones in the world) can sound too high fi and smooth) and too liberal as well bordering on homosexual........ and obviously european style is carrying over into the american market as well but thats another story(for another forum)....
