Default Trumpers Bay Rum, Weird effect?

    Hi All,

I heard good things about trumpers bay rum from a previous thread I started here about bay rum being only barbar shop quality stuff. so I recieved a bottle yesterday and splashed a little on the back of my hand to test it. Loved the scent. Clove, clove and more clove. Then the back of my hand started to get numb. Then it hit me that alot of people use oil of clove to numb toothaches. Or to treat sore gums. I never even considered it even though I knew clove was one of the major notes in this cologne. Anyone else have the same experiance or am I just experiencing the early stages of Alzhiemers again.

Also sometimes Bay Rum has menthol in it, I don't know if your numbness could be from that...
In rotation: Greenbriar (new), Silver Mountain Water, Dunhill for Men (1934), Acqua di Parma Colonia, Habit Rouge EDC, Ho Hang, B*Men, Agua Brava

If you had a small cut in your arm, that could happen. dont know why, but it just could.

I have a sample of this one too. It might be the first frag that i just cant see myself wearing. Its wierd.
