    Default animal notes

I was wondering if you know some fragrances with strong and pominent animal notes like castoreum and civet or both. Can you help me?

Romeo Gigli has a pronounced animalic note. The fragrance pyramid for it here lists ambergris and civet.

MKK......sweaty mammal note (love it btw)
Most scents with Coriander & Cumin have an animalic or sweaty scent to them.

Sanzio, have you tried La Nuit by Paco Rabanne? I`m not sure does it have actually those animal ingridients, but it sure does smell very a way, at least. :

Another fragrance you probably would enjoy is Iquitos by A. Delon. Here is Scent Direction`s description:

Top: Coriander, Fruit Notes, Green Note, Lemon, Mace, Pimento,

Middle: Aldehyde, Ginger, Honey, Jasmin, Lily of the Valley, Orris, Rose, Ylang-Ylang,

Base: Castoreum, Cedar, Civet, Leather, Moss, Musk, Patchouli, Sandal, Vanilla,

    I would also recommend Yatagan.

Another one came to my mind. But I guess it will be really hard even for the most passionate collectors to find...
Annabella - Pavia (a fur designer very famous during 80's)
This one was a stinky castoreum, civet and God knows whatever mixture...
Very potent roaring animal!!! But I guess it's discontinued since late 80's and it was distributed in Italy only... So I can figure out there will be no chance to find it. But who knows, maybe... It is told that on Ebay you can find everything... ;D
