Default Tommy Bahama Very Cool/Curve Chill

I was surprised by these two tonight at Macy's. The Very Cool is not "cool" at all despite its oceanic promo statements. It is dry, tart and somewhat spicy. I found it similar to Spark Seduction. I can't believe I did not dislike the Curve Chill. I also found it to have a nice spicy opening. It is also somewhat sweet. Almost like Armani Mania with spices added. I would give the Very Cool a 7-8 on a designer scale, 5-6 on an overall men's fragrance scale. The Curve Chill I would give a designer 5-6 and overall 3-4.

An update on the Curve Chill. It has something in it(apparently not mint) which causes a cooling effect on the skin. I applied it about an hour ago and the back of my neck still feels cool. Otherwise it dries down rather fast and does not seem to have much sillage. Overall another yawner from Claiborne.

I tested the Curve Chill a couple weeks ago & to me it smells VERY similar to CKone. I just tested the Very Cool tonight. It was pretty much blah. And OK frag, but I didn't give it a second through once I discovered it was too masculine for me to wear.
