    Default Red Pepper scent?

One of my favorite scents, Miracle, has red pepper among it's top notes: I was wondering if anything else does. *:-? I know other fragrances probably have red pepper listed as notes, but what else SMELLS LIKE red peppers?
Just because a fragrance is expensive, doesn’t necessarily make it smell better than a cheaper one.

I can still pray in the U.S.A. (For now, anyway.)

On me, l'Artisan's Piment Brulant smells exactly like fresh cut red bell pepper

Wow, I am always amazed how fast someone responds. I just posted a few minutes ago, and already an answer. * Actually, Piment Brulant *sounds great, except for the chocolate note. Is the chocolate very loud?

I didn't get chocolate at all. As a matter of fact, that's why I didn't go any further with the scent. It started off as a wonderfully startling burst of red pepper and settled into..... red pepper. I got nothing but that scent.

It seems to depend on the wearer. I get nothing but the pepper, but on my wife, the chocolate is quite noteworthy.

Doesn't Lancome's Miracle have quite a lot of bell pepper in it? (Whatever they've put in Miracle, I can't say I like it. It has some fans on the Board, though).

    Hmmm...

Azzaro Visit has a strong pink pepper note...

Touch for men is a regular black pepper i think...

Contradiction has a milled pepper scent

    Gucci PH is white pepper...

To me L'Artisan's Poivre Piquant smells like hot pepper, with sweet cream. I think it's pretty similar to their saffron scent, only switch out the saffron for hot pepper.

With Piment Brulant I get bell pepper, it has no chocolate on me.

Spark by Claiborne has a note of cayenne pepper, if that's of interest.

Yep. Samourai by Delon is also worth to try.

To me Piment Brulent smells like those tropical fish flakes people drop into their aquariums...

If you want a REAL red pepper scent, get Comme des Garçons Red Series 2: Harissa. It smells like a spicy bloody mary with pepper vodka and tabasco. And it works better than you would think.

H.O.T. Always by Bond No. 9 has a red pepper accord in it. For a cheaper alternative, there's also Givenchy Gentleman.

Just tried Piment Brulant today for the first time from a sample - got the rep pepper / pimento note, nice and spicy but not obnoxiously so. Very faint chocolate notes - probably the faintest I've ever sniffed - almost like smelling an empty cup that hot chocolate was drank from. Lasted only about 2 hours on me (I applied the entire sample vial) but was nice when it lasted.

    Probably not full bottle worthy.
