Thread: Acqua di Gio

    Default Acqua di Gio

Looking for a carbon copy of this scent or something better (no jokes...please haha). It seems like no one here has a bottle to sell (WTB post is still empty) so maybe I should be asking for something else.

What would be a more popular AdG frag. around here?

Bvlgari Aqva has plenty of similarities, though it's a bit waterier-smelling and smells more refined.

For that matter, L'eau de Issey Pour Homme (the original one, not the nasty Blue one) by Issey Miyake is also a good match, albeit a bit spicier.

Other good choices in AdG clones include Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren and the aformentioned Perry Ellis 360 Red (I actually mistook 360 Red for AdG once).

don't forget Essenza Di Zegna and I recently tried Amouage Arcus, a middle eastern version of ADG, really nice, but not really worth the price. Think a more refined ADG.

I dont get it. Why not just go with Acqua Di Gio if you like it.

Ok sorry misunderstood. In that case the cheapest and best bet is Halston Unbound. Or Walmart AdG clone - "our version of Acqua Di Gio" ;D
