    Default Your favorite Pepper?

Some people like a fragrance where pepper (black, white, or pink) is dominant. If you do, vote for one; if you don't, the last option's for you.

Frederic Malle Noir Epices rocks! I suspect that you will not get too many votes for the first three among those who have sizable collections and have tried many fragrances. They may have some pepper notes but are too sweet to be in this category.

L'Artisan Navegar has nice black pepper and red pepper notes featured prominently... including, according to it's pyramid, the "'black diamond', the legendary black pepper of Malabar" at its heart.

    That'd be my favorite...

    Visit?
When I want cedar and incense I look to Visit (or Kyoto).
When I want pepper I turn to Piper Nigrum.
Both are nice, but calling Visit a pepper fragrance is like calling a pork chop a steak. Or something...

Arpege has done it for me! Just velvety, sweet, full, and sensual! Gucci PH is good for a simpler understated mode, but when you want to turn up the volume. Arpege is it!

I'm not too keen on pepper, which is why I'm not a big fan of Himalaya's drydown. However, Noir Epices has a really clean transparent pepper note. It's just a hint that doesn't overpower.

Your list is missing the two pepperiest designer scents on the market, namely, Polo Sport Extreme and Oscar for Men.
Of the one's you've listed, I think only Piper Nigrum comes slightly close to them in the pepper stakes.

I think they're good, but my ladyfriend sneezes a lot when near them.

Just a bit off the "pepper" note, I was surprised at the similarity of the woody elements of Visit being similar to that in CKone Scene, with the added dimensionality of muguet and ginger really makes it a less linear and one-dimensional version of Visit.

The pepper cologne I love the most in spring and summer is Jil Sander for man (1998). There is also mint and ivy in it and it is refreshing, spicy/peppery with an unobtrusive woody drydown.

It has to be Piper Nirum, as the fragrance completely constructed around pepper.

Honourable mention goes to D&G Pour Homme.

I have to add, that I favour both, Piper Nigrum and Epices Noir. I do not really get that
sharp pepper note there, but they are very special for other reasons. Also, they have
    more sillage and lasting strength.

(I selected Villoresi before Heritage came to mind, if you want to correct my vote. I hardly know the other colognes mentioned above)

Maybe I`d suggest some strange peppery colognes, but anyway I`d choose:

Havana by Aramis as the most spicy pepper

Preparation Parfumee by Andree Putmann as good transparent pepper with some not overbaering aquatic properties (Zanzibar by van Cleef & Arpels is a tad less polite and unusual, maybe I`m too cruel to ginger note)

Or Noir by Pascal Morabito as the best leather pepper I`ve ever smell

Vetiver by Annick Goutal as the best vetiver pepper

And Piper Nigrum is the very best peppery cologne (pepper, citrus, herbs)

Pepper is one of my favorite notes. Of the fragrances I have, my favorite peppers are:

Visit (would you like some pepper with your cedar and nutmeg?)
Gucci PH (on two separate occasions I have been asked how come I smell like black pepper when wearing Gucci PH)
Guerlain Vetiver and D&G PH (I don't get the much discussed tobacco from either of these, but do get a lot of pepper)
Bulgari PH Extreme (I don't get any tea, but a lot of peppery, woody musk)
Escada Magnetism (a less sharp, unsneezy pepper)
Guerlain Heritage (too much vanilla to really be my style, but also plenty of pepper)
Jil Sander for Men (seems at first to be a somewhat generic "fresh" scent, but actually has a very distinctive personality and a subtle peppery, woody, incensey drydown)
Burberry Touch (the pepper doesn't stand out to me, but the fragrance overall is a woody musk that I like a lot)

Body Shop Pink Pepper has been mentioned. I've only sampled it briefly, but it reminded me a lot of YSL Nu.
