    Default Silver Mountain Water

Is it worth geting? I am thinking of ordering it online but aint sure if I should, I tested it once a while ago, from what I can remember it smelt like MI but weaker. People on BN seem to love it and I'm wondering if should have one, can it live up to GiT?

    Thanks

I don't think it smells much like MI at all. I love MI; I don't much care for SMW. To me SMW has a harsh synthetic note that dominates everything else. In addition, it seems distinctly feminine to me.

The longevity of SMW is great on me too, one of the best out of all the Creed's I've tried.
This is a fantastic scent, but I find it best suited for calm days when I want to be comforted lol. I can't wait until I have the money to buy this!

    SMW is a must!

SUPERB scent, in my top 5. Suppose it does have some similarities to MI but SMW actually lasts whereas MI seems to disapear in seconds.

HUGE BIG THUMBS UP! from me!

SMW is a great scent and lasts a lot longer than your nose can detect it.........related to MI somewhat but they are two very, very different scents IMHO and I have both bottles in front of me while I'm typing this. Get it and wear it a few times......I do believe you will love it.

I don't have SMW, but I've sampled it and must say that on my skin os does last longer than MI, but not as long as GIT. GIT is around 6 - 7 hrs that I can smell it, I'd say with MI I get 3 - 4, SMW maybe an hour more. They're both superb fragrance, though I have to admit that MI is more to my liking...

SMW is one of my faves. It's very unique and I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it.

Beautiful scent--crystalline and delicate, but it doesn't last more than a half hour on my skin.

I love it and it lasts all day on me, but because it is such a distinctive scent and longevity varies from person to person, I advise you try it first.

SMW is one of my favorites too.

    cookesoul,
I have always thought SMW was very short-lived (2-3 hours) until yesterday. I applied the frag shortly before Noon to my neck and the back of my hands. After about 3 hours, I could barely smell it directly from my hands but throughout the rest of the day and into the late evening, I kept getting whiffs of the stuff from various body and arm/hand motions. I must conclude from this that people around me can also detect it long after my nose has come to ignore it.

I own and wear both SMW and Hamptons, and have referred to the latter as a "better SMW than SMW". Lately, however, I've been regarding them as variations on a theme. Hamptons is the sharper, more marine variation while SMW offers that distinctive black currant note that takes it in a different direction. When I'm in the mood for a fragrance with a bit more of an edge (which is often the case), I prefer Hamptons. When I'm looking for something softer, I reach for SMW. Love 'em both.
