Default A day at the Perfume counters

I've not been in NYC for half a year and all the female SA's recognized me greeting me and updating me on their personal lives NOT fragrances. Interesting yet irksome. Am I just a piece of fragrant booty? DAMN STRAIGHT! Fragrant as they come!

I tried a ton of stuff and was AMAZED by one scent.

Dior Homme - GO AWAY and come back more original.

Arpege - not bad but just when I started to enjoy it 212 called and said it wanted to sue for identity theft.

Onyx again - I see so much resemblance to the original Azzaro on the top notes. Not bad so I wore it out tonight. Dont love it or hate it just tolerate it. I can't for the life of me stop saying Da Da Da Da Da Da
Ok I'll stop before Peta calls and threatens to bomb me.

Courderoy - nice pants, not a fragrance though. Zirh means bullshit in Persian and thats what I think this company is.

Santana - one of the greatest guitarists ever with one of the worst fragrances ever, makes me think of, oh wait all the other celebrity fragrances are by hacks. (Liz excused, one of the greatest actresses ever, awful scents . . . in many ways).

    This is depressing.

Then I tried U2 for him since Bono can do anything. Not really but I await his attempt.

Canali - not bad but your normal spicy fresh , nothing mind blowing like sex in the woods at 4am.

Be Delicious - reminded me that I have some rotted apples in the refrigerator I need to dispose of.

Boss Soul - they should have kept it bottled.

Curves Soul - Claiborne scents have no soul, we didnt need a new scent to tell us this.

And now for the saving grace, the perfume that made me say YEAH BABY I'LL TAKE IT

    Black Mack Saffron.

thin scent that grows in audacity. Pleasant notes of nutmeg mingling with bright melody of saffron and woods.

Jack Black is a great company!

    Cheers,
    Ali

Al, I was cracking up as i scrolled down your list of frags that sucked.

Tonight at work I complimented a girl on her fragrance.

    What was the fragrance?

    Paris Hilton.

    I feel dirty.

...I thought that even the reformulated Arpege(wich is very good) is older than 212, so if 212 goes ahead, Arpege will kick its numerical a*s!
So the identity theft is really the other way around...and unbased anyways since they dont really smell similar if that's your point.

Enjoyed your post! Agreed on most of the comments!

Hilarious post. I haven't tested all the Jack Black scents but I remember one of them smelling exactly like Polo Blue. I think that first impression turned me away from the house, but I guess I have to go back and explore their other offerings.
