My vetiver week
VETIVER - ADOLFO DOMINGUEZ
Thread: SOTD Monday 2 January

"I felt something so intense, I could only express it in a perfume." - Jacques Guerlain
My SOTD is my first full wearing of Idole De Lubin. What an interesting scent! It strikes me as smelling approximately like CdG EDP after six or so hours. It could also be viewed as positioned at the intersection of Gucci PH and CdG Seqouia.
Top Notes: rum absolute, saffron, bitter orange peels and black cumin
Middle Notes: doum plum, smoked ebony and sugar cane
Base Notes: leather and red sandalwood
Today is my "Lauder for Men" day.
Fragonard's Santal on me today. I've liked this one but I never get around to wearing it. I still like it, but there's still something very lusterless about it. No thrill to wear.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.
Today it seems like a less expressive version of Eau D'Hiver.
True Star (Hilfiger)
On this very wet, rainy day I'm wearing
Vetiver Extraordinaire on a cold rainy day.
It is warm, humid and misty...Ungaro III of course.
"Ca sent les pieds!"
I'm following dr. creed today: Salvador Dali Laguna Homme
Tangerine, Lime, Bergamot, Cinchona tree bark
Sandalwood, Cedar, Jasmine
Clary Sage, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Ciste Labdanum, Musk
Overcome by Fumes
Tabarome Millesime on my left wrist
Millesime Imperial on my right..
it's a tie!
Just because it happened to you doesn't make it interesting.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

A certain fragrance called Hummer today.
Surprisingly, I find it to be a rather nice creation.
