Default Different between Eau de Toilette and Cologne?

Yeah, I already know Eau de toilette contains more "juice" than cologne, and should last stronger I suppose. Anyone know what the specific difference should be? How much longer does toilette last than cologne?

There is no set value for these things.

It depends on the fragrance, it depends on the skin type of the wearer, and it depends on the chemistry between the wearer and the fragrance.

Basically, the higher the perfume content, the stronger and longer lasting it is.

    Depends on your source:

Some will say that cologne and EDT are the same thing (and some cases they are, look at classic Aramis or Tommy Hilfiger original).

Some will say that EDT is stronger but not by much. Alcohol is a projector, which means the more alcohol content the more it will project and stronger it will seem. This is a ruse, however, because this initial "power" is a trade-off for overall length. Don't expect and EDT to last much more than 8 hours, if that.

Some will say that EDT is the lowest common strength, and that EDC is technically the original fragrance but weakened slightly and with light citrus notes added. Look to the Boucherons for this approach, where they will take the original and add some "Freshness" to it and call it a day.

There's alot of information on the web, alot more in depth than I just went but it's enough to get you started. Basically the flow chart is: Parfum----Eau de Parfum-----Eau de Toilette-----Cologne or Eau de Cologne.
