    Default Santal Florascent

Does anybody have comments on this one ? I'm kind of intrigued with this frag and would appreciate if somebody can comment on it. Is it more in the "masculine" or "feminine" side of the olfactory spectrum? How warm is it ? What about that davana component ?

    Thank you

This is a very strange fragrance, at least to my nose. When I sampled it, I was filled with dread. All I can say is that it conjures up the strangest emotions. If I had to sum it up in a sentence--although clearly the sentence is not descriptive-- I'd say that it reminds me of death. I threw away my sample vial it spooked me out so much. I've never had this reaction to a fragrance before; it's very unsettling.

Sorry this is not a ringing endorsement and such a negative response to boot. I thought I'd reply since no one else was posting.

    ahahaa...that's a good one Scentemental!

I personally love this one and it ties with my other favorite sandalwood scent, Floris Santal. It lacks the coldness and brittleness of Art of Shaving but is not as rich, creamy and sweet as Trumpers.

Thank you both for your comments on this one scentemental and Ballardbeau.... It looks like this frag is not very popular here.

I already asked luckyscent.com for a sample to see...
