Default If I like these colognes what else would I like ?

    Hi All,

First of all, I want to apologize for my writting because my english is limted.

My question is to the "experts" and none "experts" too ( all of you).

I just got interest in the "world of colognes" and would like some help from you guys to help me find "new colognes" for me...

These are the colognes I own and like a lot:

    "X" by Clive Christian
    Jaipur by Boucheron
    Etra by Etro
    Le Male by JP Gaultier
    Jacques Fath by Jacques Fath
Escada by Escada ( my least favorite, but I keep buying it because girls like it)
    Bvlgari Homme by Bvlgari
    Yohji by Yamamoto

Are there any colognes out there that are similiar (from the above) or other that you guys would think I would like just by looking at my list?

As you can tell guys, my favorite colognes are those that are a little bit sweet, or may to sweet. Basically, I like a colognes that are elegant and sexy.

Well, that is of for now. Hope that I get some help....

A couple of suggestions to get started:

If you like Jaipur and Le Male I would recommend D&G By Man, Givenchy Pi and Balenciaga Cristobal.

If you like Bulgari PH I would recommend D&G Pour Homme and Creed Tabarome.

Ooppsss I for got about Pi. I have this one also ( both- yellow and blue)

Yesterday I smelled D&G and Burrys London and there are not that bad, but neither that good. I did not like as much as the one a listed above.

Similar (but even better, in my humble opinion) to Le Male: Iceberg Twice and Jacomod De Jacomo Rouge

I have tried Hanae Mori, but this is the one of the worst colognes ever (sorry, just my opinion). The aroma is to strong and its smells really- really bad

Good thread idea. If you guys could advise me as well that would be great. My favorites are:

    HM by Hanare Mori
    Envy by Gucci
    A*Men by Theirry Mugler
    M7 by Yves Saint Laurent
    Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
    Samourai by Alain Delon
    Egoiste Platinum by Chanel

    Welcome-
Since you like Jaipur and Le Male, I think Body Kouros will be a winner for you.

Also try Latitude Longitude - Nautica if you like Bulgari pour Homme. It doesn't have Bulgari's subtlety or duration, but it is decidedly a woody fragrance with some oriental and aquatic notes.

I don't have much experience with the other frags through I do have Escada. The drydown is pretty nice.

I suggest you consider Escada Magnetism for Men, for something a little sweet, sexy and elegant. I rather liked it, but it died on my skin quickly. Others have different experiences with it.

If you like HM and A*men, then you should try New Haarlem. It's close to a "perfect" gourmand IMO.
