Default Black Code vs. John Varvatos

These are two of the past year's best releases, but for me John Varvatos is the more creative and unique fragrance. Just thought I'd see what you folks think.

Don't like either but JV is better.

I love 'em both, but the nod goes to John Varvatos (my SOTD)!

I like Black Code over John V. but because I have longevity issues with BC, I went with John V.

Personally, I can't stand either although I very much enjoyed JV last year (was not issued this year).

Vanilla is an issue with me and any hint of it in the drydown turns me right off.

    Need I say more?

Interestingly, these two complement each other IMO. Black Code is soft while JV is bold. Get both for different occasions. I vote for JV by the way.

Love both of them....went with Black Code....Last longer on me and is the best all around of the 2 IMO.
