Default Let's name some REALLY hard to find fragrances.

Talking about designer's stuff (I have no experience with niche fragrances) :

    Boss Sport EDT,

Claude Montana Parfum D' Homme (the original in the red/brown bottle).

    Let's add some more!
Owners of such bottles are kindly requested not to ask outrageous amounts of $$ when selling/swapping ;D .
It's never too late to mend.

Pancaldi (1989), which is either discontinued or very hard to find; minis are still for sale here and there.

    http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121251.html

I wore it yesterday and decided that what mainly makes it special is a combination of fir and jasmine, I believe...maybe the rose too. Subtlely shaded by juniper berry, clary sage, cinnamon, vetiver and citrus.

HOUBIGANT Fougere Royale. Launched in 1882, it actually gave it's name to the fougere perfume category. Reissued in the 1950's and 1980's (?) but I have never seen a bottle. I'd pay a king's ransom to try it!

My first thoughts were these two, also, along with Phileas by Nina Ricci. I'm sure glad I have each one of these.

Not yet mentioned, Tuscany per Uomo Forte is really becoming difficult to find, along with Caracter by Daniel Hechter, Background by Jil Sander, and Fair Play by Cerruti. However, for anyone wanting any one of these scents, there is at least one example of each on the'bay right now.

My frequent haunt has loads of this stuff. I thought it was too pungent. Like Givenchy Gentleman X10. I'm not saying that it's bad, in fact I loved it! But I don't think it can be worn in public

Ah, Stardust. So proud to own a bottle, and swear I must have been one of the last people to get one (it was available a couple of years ago from Nieman Marcus online, but soon after I purchased mine, it was no longer available.) If I recall correctly, there was some legal issues with the fragrance/name according to Ali (I think). Gosh, where is that masked man anyway?

Yes! Ralph Lauren Monogram! I'm an hoarding the very last of a 1.8 oz. bottle of cologne. This frangranace is truly hypnotic. The cobalt blue bottle with silver trim adds to it's mystique--the frangrance itself is amethyst in color.

What can be done to bring it back? Anything? :-?

Green Frich Tweed is really hard to find. I can't find it listed anywhere.

Seriously with ebay almost anything can be found though I don't see Ralph Lauren Monogram even sold on there anymore like it used to be. Another hard one to find is MPG Soir d'Orient, only 2000 bottles ever made. Also Chanel Bois Noir which I believe was very briefly released but then reformulated and released as Egoiste.

Lately I've had trouble finding Kouros Fraicheur. Most of the etailer's list it as "currently out of stock." Nothing on ebay, either. I finally located it at www.perfumecountry.com The transaction was a little shady, but that's another story. I'm supposed to finally receive it tomorrow.

Giorgio for men by Giorgio Beverly Hills, definitely. Also, Metal Jeans by Versace and Relax by Davidoff. Supposedly Relax smells really good but it's impossible to find, only little vials and small EDT's, like previously mentioned big bottles can only be found on e-Bay.
