Thread: Shipping Frags overseas |
I've received fragrances from overseas before, but never had to send one. I'm trying to coordinate a trade with someone in Europe. What do we have to do to send our bottles to each other?
Declare "cosmetics" on the customs form. And of course nothing is liquid , perishable or hazardous.
Used toiletries
Used cosmetics
Body lotion
etc.
NEVER use "cologne", "perfume" or the like.
Because it contains alcohol which is considered hazardous.
So it's nice to add "alcohol-free" too.
Check the "Gift" check box.
Declare a low value. Typically $20 or less.
HTH!
When I shipped some M7 to a Canadian Basenoter once, I declared "cosmetics samples", checked the "Gift" box, and declared a $30 US value.
The M7 made it to the Great White North just fine.
It's really quite pleasant, except for the smell (...)
