Honestly, I'd say Fahrenheit. It's so bold and evocative. L'Air du Desert Marocain comes close, for me. I just wish it were a bit more masculine rather than walking the unisex line so well.

i love taste of fragrance but don't want to smell like peppers all day. i also love aramis bermuda tonic but don't want to smell tropical all day. i guess the ever safe bvlgari pour homme which i love and reach for often when i can't decide what to wear.

Mine is 4 Voleurs from L'Occitane.
Nothing else I've ever tried comes close to this long-lasting, versatile, amazing and captivating scent.

It is clean enough for office wear, yet interesting enough for evenings.
The citrus and herbs make it great for warm weather, but the cedar and cloves make it equally at home in the cooler months.

It wipes the floor with every other fragrance I've ever tried. I've got 2/3 of a bottle left, and I'm safeguarding the hell out of it.

I must have missed those halcyon days.
But seriously, I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the "A" word here. And no I'm not going to mention it.

GIT, Aventus and Pure Malt. Can't pick one.

Actually if I had a gun to my head and was told to pick one, I would go with Aventus.

One of my absolute favorites and also one of the best (if not the best) I ever got to know is Armani Eau pour Homme

In this fall and winter I have been used Aventus most, but if I have to think "best" fragrances, my opinion leans to Chanel Egoiste, L'air du desert Marocain and Acqua di Parma Colonia.

Still, impossible to say only one, because it depends so much your mood, situation, season and so on.

Wasn't aware this had been reformulated. How much does the current one differ?
I can't swear by it as perceptions change, but when I tried a fresh bottle recently, it got linear very quickly. I remember being knocked out by it's subtle changes of velvety smokiness years ago -- it seems thinner now.
